Darktide: The Miniatures Game Player Character Alternative Colour Scheme Recipes

Video games! Online video games! They’re fun, but the not so secret best part of them (the part which makes us spend countless hours playing the game, besides having fun with friends and knocking all manner of snot out of our personal bests or getting loot) is making your character look fancy. And Darktide the video game is no exception. Be it through cosmetic purchases or gear earned through gameplay, it’s undeniably fulfilling to outfit your character exactly how you want to. Painting miniatures is no exception. So, when Games Workshop sent a copy of Darktide: The Miniatures Game my way, I couldn’t resist diving straight into the four player character miniatures and given them all manner of alternative colour schemes far removed from the dark, gritty corridors of Tertium.

20 Horus Heresy Solar Auxilia Trooper Colour Schemes and Painting Recipes All In One Place

Horus Heresy? Oh you mean the game and book series focusing upon Space Marines kicking seven shades of Athonian Camo out of each other? Yes. But there’s more to it than that. Other factions of humans and not quite humans were rolling around in the 31st millennium. Not least of which, by a long way, are the Solar Auxilia. And they now have new plastic models in the Horus Heresy tabletop game. Not only that, Games Workshop sent one of the Solar Auxilia Battle Group boxes my way (you can already see where this is going, right?). So what did I do? Yep. Twenty Solar Auxilia Troopers in twenty different colour scheme with their recipes and methods attached into easy to refer to cards for your viewing pleasure.

New Flesh-Eater Courts Crypt Guard Contrast Paint Schemes For You!

Nothing says nobility in Warhammer Age of Sigmar’s Mortal Realms like a little light cannibalism. Unless you’ve been living under a Rockgut Troggoth for the past few weeks you’ll know that the Flesh-Eater Courts are getting something of a resurgence currently, with their new Battletome unveiled and a slew of new units up for grabs. Now they’re not all available yet, but the contents of the army box can be pre-ordered as of time of writing. And the folks at Games Workshop sent some my way. So, what did I do? Yep. Painted 20 Crypt Guard in 20 different colour schemes using Citadel Contrast Paints and highlights and here I’m going to post them!
