Ten Bretonnian Knights of the Realm on Foot Colour Schemes and Painting Recipes

Bretonnian Knights? On horses? Not here. Not every knight is lucky enough to have a horse, not in this economy. And in Warhammer: The Old World, that’s been made utterly clear in the release of a new plastic kit for Bretonnian Knights of the Realm on Foot (longest miniature kit name of 2024?) from Games Workshop. Knights in shining silver armour might be the norm that we see on boxes and in all manner of media, but it’s not always the case. Maybe, just maybe, you’re like me and can’t seem to either grasp or fully enjoy the art of painting metallic armour. And that’s okay! Because they are your models. You can paint them however you like. Hell, they’re knights. Heraldry and individual valour is kind of their jam. Anyway, enough preamble. Here’s 10 recipe cards and colour schemes for the knights I’ve managed to ramble about for a hundred or so words.

Hope that helps you in painting your Bretonnian Knights of the Realm on Foot! If you happen to follow this guide and find it helpful by all means feel free to let me know on X/Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky, Threads, or anywhere you can find me on the Internet!

Miniatures provided free of charge by Games Workshop for promotional purposes.
